Description
These tiles are made from our high grade Pro-coustix Sonarflex premium grade acoustic treatment foam with a higher density of 30Kg/M3 and a contemporary wedge profile that is both effective and looks great on your studio walls. These tiles can be used to treat medium to high frequency reflections, echoes, reverberation and standing wave problems.
Three reasons why professionals use our Sonarflex foam products
Higher Density - Pro-coustix Sonarflex foam is a specially designed foam for acoustic purposes, unlike foam sold by mattress manufacturers this foam is of higher density and stronger structure which means you need slimmer profiles to deliver excellent absorption. Also Sonarflex foam tiles will last longer before they start to disintegrate. So whilst foam manufacturers suggest you double up the thickness of lower density foams to achieve similar results this in most cases ends up deadening your room and sucking out all the character in the sound you produce.
Odour controlled - Our Sonarflex foam is designed with professional studios in mind. The foam used drastically reduces the 'musty' foam smell that cheaper foams supplier by mattress manufacturers have. The last thing you want in your professional studio is a strong smell of cheap foam. Whilst you may get used to the smell your customers may not appreciate it. Using our Sonarflex foam products guarantees that your studio will smell great right from installation.
Colour stability - Our Sonarflex foam has been shown to have greater colour stability than lower density foams although all foams eventually oxidise and start to discolour our Sonarflex tiles take much longer to start discolouring and will not need to be replaced as quickly as other tiles saving you money in the long run. Our speckled foam not only performs great but will look the part in your studio.
Enhanced profile - We've designed our wedge tiles with performance and longevity enhancing flat topped wedges. These flatter tips will mean your foam tips with not start to feather or disintegrate and are bound to last longer than traditional pointed wedge tiles. Our thicker 20mm base and 30mm rise gives you more absorption per tile across the audio spectrum.
